I am a yoga teacher, teachers teacher, instructional designer, yoga student, graduate student, peer, guide, awkward hugger, Georgia native, daughter, sister, aunt, dog-mom, celery juice drinker, flex-etarian, windows down on a cold day driver, lover of learning, meditation, and movement.

Teacher
I completed a 200-hr teacher training in 2016 and a 300-hr in January 2020. I am a 500-hr Certified Yoga Teacher and a 200-hr Experienced Certified Yoga Teacher with over 1,800 hours of teaching in-person and virtual yoga, meditation, and training.
The question of teacher training came from the right person at the right time. I was fresh out of a relationship, enjoying a ton of new freedom and also in a serious yoga daze following a 6 AM power practice. I said yes, then I said never mind, then I said OK. The rest is history.

Student
I started practicing yoga in 2011. My practice took off (read: I started going to class more than once every couple weeks) in 2014. Today, I have a daily home practice of postures, breath work, and meditation. I still attend studio classes and I absolutely love to be guided by others.
I’m also an academic. I completed graduate school at Georgia State University in September 2021 – Masters of Science in Instructional Design.

Supporter
The internet is not large enough for me to fully express how important family support is.
Family also extends to my peers in the yoga industry. We uplift each other. We grow and commiserate together. We encourage each other. Most all, we love each other regardless of style or lineage.
I commit to supporting yoga teachers in any way possible.
